A:  Everyone should use the following types of programs: Anti-Virus, Firewall, Data Back-Up, Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmenter, and Anti-Malware programs.  All of these types of programs and can be found for

Q: Which Anti-Virus programs are recomended ?

A:  I recomend the highly rated FREE programs Microsoft Defender or Avira Security Suite, to be updated and scanned at least once every week.

  
Q: How should I clean out my computer ?

A:  I recomend running the FREE program CCleaner at least once every month for cleaning out cookies, history, temporary internet files, etc.  CCleaner  also has a good registry cleaner, start-up programs editor, system restore tool and uninstaller. 

  
Q: Which Firewall programs are recomended ?

A: Microsoft Windows has a built in firewall. Other FREE firewalls include Zone Alarm or Comodo.

 
Q: What is the best way to back-up my data or entire computer ?

A: The ideal backup solution includes a local backup on a second hard drive or media and an off-site backup on a third hard drive or media with FREE programs like EaseUs Todo Backup or AOMEI Backupper, you can create a hard drive image, a 2nd identical cloned hard drive or backup individual files and folders.
